The highlight of this week's sale is part two of an extraordinary estate collection of Chinese jades and artifacts acquired by the former owner during the 1950's. Many of the pieces listed in this weeks sale have not been on the market for over seventy years. Please be sure to check our other listings as there is sure to be something for everyone. This listing is for a large and finely made Chinese cloisonne lantern most likely dating to the 19th century. The lantern with a design of flowers and vines done on a yellow enamel ground. It comes in two pieces and has a door that opens on the front. It came along with a very nice fitted wood stand as shown in the photos. The lantern stands about 19.75" (50cm) tall including the wood stand. Overall condition appears to be very good with only some scattered tarnishing to the gilded metal surface.Please note that all international shipments are shipped with full value disclosed on customs. Also, all domestic shipments will be sent with signature required.
